The Employee Tuition Scholarship is an exciting employee benefit unique to Goodwill Industries of Central Florida, enabling part-time and full-time employees to pursue higher education via a Florida-state public university, college, or accredited technical college and trade school without the financial burden of upfront costs of tuition, books, and other fees. All Goodwill employees are able to take advantage of this education benefit after 90 days of continuous employment.
Since January 2024, a total of $123,973 has been invested in the Goodwill Scholars program. The average cost per student is $1,078. Goodwill Scholars have enrolled in colleges, universities and trade school to achieve their associate’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, certificates, credentials and diplomas. Many employees take advantage of the scholarship to increase their fluency in English and other languages.
